We were asked to create the logo and Comms design for the group.
Becoming a mum for the first time brings big changes to life and has lots of challenges! MummyShock, a 10-week therapeutic group for new mums and their babies, aims to provide a supportive space for women to talk, as they begin their journey as new mums, in a secure and friendly environment.
The logo features a playful stork complete with a baby in a pouch. The idea of a stalk unexpectedly turning up at your doorstep with a newborn is the perfect analogy for the shock many mothers experience when having a baby for the first time.
A variety of babies are let loose throughout the visual system, crawling across flyers, banners and websites demonstrating the challenges first time mothers face. Strong usage of a bright yellow throughout the brand emphasizes the shock value.
