Graphic design and Communications for MummyShock, a 10-week therapeutic group for new mums and their babies.
We were tasked with create a visual identity through graphic design, communications and website for this new startup therapeutic group.
The logo features a playful stork complete with a baby in a pouch. The idea of a stalk unexpectedly turning up at your doorstep with a newborn is the perfect analogy for the shock many mothers experience when having a baby for the first time. A variety of babies are let loose throughout the visual system, crawling across flyers, banners and websites demonstrating the challenges first time mothers face. Strong usage of a bright yellow throughout the brand emphasizes the shock too.
